Lysine prices soften in China amid subdued demand

Lysine prices were weak during the week ending September 3.

Although prices of lysine were mostly stable, a handful of traders cut prices in efforts to move sales.

Price quotes of 98.5-percent lysine stayed in the range of RMB8-8.20/kg.

Demand for lysine will be slow as feed millers limit output prudently amid concerns of likely disease outbreaks.
