Swedish company to build new US$24 million feed factory
Lantmannen Lantbruk, a Swedish farm cooperative, is investing SEK 165 million (US$ 23.86 million ) in a new feed factory in Lidkoping, Sweden.
Lantmannen Lantbruk expects the new facility, which will be complete in early 2009, to save an annual SEK 10 million by coordinating activities from its two existing factories in the town.
The company is a farm cooperative that specializes in grain trading and selling of feed products and farm equipment with annual revenues of SEK 32 billion (US$4.6 billion). The company's customers are mainly in Nordic countries and North America.
