Brazil's chicken meat prices continue to rise on strong export
Owing to high export values particularly in the South-eastern regions of the country, Brazil's chicken meat prices continue to increase.
According to reports the Centre of Advanced Studies on Applied Economics (CEPEA), frozen chicken is even more geared for the export market.
This month, the highest price accumulated to 22% in Pará de Minas, where a kilogramme of the product was sold for BRL3.69 (US$1.56) on Thursday (Aug 29).
