Armenian meat output down in Jan-July

Some 22,032 tonnes of meat were produced in Armenia in Jan-July 2010, a 16.6% fall or 4,376 tonnes less on-year, the National Statistical Service of Armenia reports.

According to the report, 227 tonnes of semi-finished meat products were produced in the country in Jan-July 2010 against 208 tonnes at the same period a year before (9.2% on-year growth).

Some 1,975 tonnes of meat products, including sausages, were produced at the mentioned period of this year, signalling an 11.1% on-year decline.
