Zhengchang acquires largest South American feed equipment supplier, Equipar

China-based Zhengchang has acquired the largest feed equipment supplier in South America, Equipar, Chinese media reported last week.

Brazil-based Equipar has four decades of experience in the feed equipment sector, which is also the largest business segment for the company. It was reported that Equipar has close to 1,000 active customers.

Equipar is located in Campinas city, the industrial and technological hub of Brazil. The company's plant and office area exceeds 8,000 square metres.

Zhengchang says that the acquisition of Equipar builds on its strengths in R&D, product quality, and systems-based service approach, accelerating its internationalisation efforts within and beyond the South American market.
