Minh Phu Seafood posts strong Jan-July results

Minh Phu Seafood Group Joint Stock Co (MPC) announced to gain accumulative after tax profit in the first seven months of 2010 of VND158.6 billion (US$8.13 million), equivalent to EPS of VND2,266 (US$0.11).

The total production output in January-July was estimated at over 11,000 tonnes, fulfilling 61% of the year plan, of which the company has exported 9,985 tonnes, gaining export turnover of US$102.2 million.

The company's net revenue was posted at VND2.031 trillion (US$104 million), and pre-tax profit and after tax profit of VND192.5 billion (US$9.87 million) and VND164.6 billion (US$8.44 million) respectively, in which profit of the parent company's shareholders counted for VND158.6 billion (US$8.13 million).
