Bulgaria may buy out up to 280 million tonnes of milk quotas
Bulgaria may buy out 250 million to 280 million tonnes of milk quotas, provided the EU gives the green light, according to Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Foods Tsvetan Dimitrov.
The prices are estimated to range between BGN0.10 and BGN0.37 per litre.
Dimitrov also said Bulgaria would join the awareness campaign raised by the other EU member states aimed at revealing the deep crisis in the agro sector.
