Indonesia's chicken egg prices down 0.47% 

 

 

 

Based on retail food price data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) on August 25, Indonesia's chicken egg prices reached Rp29,314 (US$1.77) per kilogramme (kg).

 

This price increased by Rp117 (US$0.0071) (0.4%) compared to August 24. In the last week, the price of this commodity decreased by Rp137 (US$0.0083)  (0.47%). Compared to 30 days prior, it decreased by Rp197 (US$0.012) (0.67%).

 

Meanwhile, looking at the price trend over the last three months, the average national chicken egg price increased by Rp353 (US$0.021)  (1.22%).

 

During the period of May 2025 - August 2025, the lowest average chicken egg price was Rp28,898 (US$1.75)  per kg on Wednesday, May 28, 2025. The highest price reached Rp30,309 (US$1.84) per kg on Thursday, August 7, 2025.
