Government Surprises with $1 billion more

Batavia, NY – The Trump Administration shocked cheese markets on Monday by announcing plans to increase the budget of the Farmers to Families Food Box Program "by up to an additional $1.0 billion." Then on Friday, USDA issued a press release indicating that it had changed its plans further and is extending "Phase 2" of the program thru 18 Sep.
