China Broiler Weekly: Substantial hikes in prices on tight supply (week ended Aug 29, 2017)
Inadequate availability of AA broiler continued to push prices prominently higher. In the north, price hikes were over 10% amid supply shortages. A robust AA broiler market stimulated the demand for day-old chicks, lifting prices by RMB0.20-0.40/chick to RMB3.20-3.50/chick.
