Vitamin A market shows signs of stabilising in China (week ended Aug 29)

DSM increased its price quotes for vitamin A from RMB110/kg to RMB120/kg. However, most local producers continued to keep prices low to attract clients.
Price quotes of locally produced vitamin A were mainly at RMB112-116/kg while actual transacted prices were around RMB110/kg.
Several local producers have cut output or halted operation of late, resulting in tight supplies. As demand improves, vitamin A prices are likely to strengthen gradually.
