Cambodia: The next key market for breeding success

The third International Exhibition & Conference for Livestock, Dairy, Feed and Meat Processing for Cambodia will take place from September 5 - 7, 2018.

Located at the Diamond Island Convention and Exhibition Centre, Phnom Penh, Cambodia, the event is set to be the go-to platform for entrepreneurs to seize opportunities to expand businesses and witness the latest innovations, network with key buyers and gain insights to market trends.

Of recent market analysis, Cambodia is labelled as the next key market in Asia for successful breeding growth. It has emerged as one of the fastest-growing economies in Asia with an annual GDP growth rate of 7%. Agriculture is Cambodia's biggest sector, in addition to rice cultivation. Cambodia is also home to other resources, including rubber, oil palm, tapioca and corn.

Simultaneously, a sharp increase can be seen in the aquaculture sector, modern animal husbandry production sector as well as the feed production sector.

Despite the many challenges, livestock production in Cambodia is steadily developing with increasing foreign initiatives and investments, proving a promising future for the country.

Livestock Cambodia 2018, organised by Minh Vi Exhibition & Advertising Service Co., Ltd (VEAS) and under the support of the Government and Ministries, will house more than 60 exhibitors, 100 brands display related to pig and poultry farming equipment, breeding and feeding system, and animal health and pharmaceutical products.

The event is expected to receive 5,000 trade visitors from worldwide and will encompass specific sightseeing activities and attractive and useful seminar with specialized topics presented by local and international leading experts.
