Vietnam's milk and dairy imports reach 13% rise in expenditure for first eight months of 2012
Vietnam's expenditure on milk and dairy imports is estimated at US$665 million in the first eight months of 2012, a rise of 13% against the same period in 2011.
The Southeast Asian country bought milk and dairy products worth US$70 million in August, increasing from US$67 million in July.
In 2011, Vietnam's expenditures on importing dairy products increased by 19.7% on year to US$848 million.
