Taiwan to ease restrictions on US beef and pork imports
Taiwan plans to loosen restrictions on the import of US beef and pork, said Taiwan President Tsai Ing-wen on August 28.
The move could ease the way to a trade agreement with the United States, Reuters reported.
Speaking at the presidential office, Tsai added that it would take a while to reach a free trade agreement with the US, but that she had a positive attitude on the issue.
