Stable demand holds up China lysine prices

Lysine prices were stable to higher during the week ending August 27.

Lysine prices were stable to higher while feed millers increased stockpiles in preparation for the pre-Mid-autumn Festival market while producers limited output.

Price quotes of 70-percent lysine strengthened to RMB4.50-4.60/kg.

Lysine prices are expected to stay around current levels in the coming week.
