US soymeal stocks down but soy crushings up
US soymeal and hull stocks on July 31 were 318,153 tonnes, down 15 percent from 372,601 tonnes last year, the US Census Bureau said in its latest Fats and Oils Oilseed Crushings report.
US soy crushings in July came in at 150.6 million bushels, up 1 percent from July 2006,
The figure was above trade expectations that averaged just over 149 million bushels.
Soyoil stocks at the end of July totaled 3.25 billion pounds, up 5 percent from 3.11 billion pounds a year ago and below average trade estimates near 3.3 billion pounds.
