Zinpro appoints poultry and swine account manager for Russia
 

Zinpro Corporation has announced the appointment of Damir Karan as the company's poultry and swine account manager for Russia.

In this key role, Karan will provide Zinpro's swine and poultry customers in Russia with performance mineral nutrition and business-solution sales support while cultivating new sales opportunities.

With more than 10 years of feed additive and farm management experience, Karan was most recently employed as a representative for a global feed additives company. He has also worked as an animal nutritionist for a feed premix manufacturer and a regional poultry-production feed mill.

"Damir has tremendous feed nutrition knowledge and animal husbandry experience that will be very helpful to our current and future swine and poultry customers in Russia," said Timur Akmaliev, Zinpro's country manager of Russia and Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS).

"His expertise spans the most important aspects of feed formulation and nutrition, which will make him a very good resource to help our poultry and swine customers prosper."

Karan earned a degree in animal husbandry engineering from the Faculty of Agriculture at the University of Novi Sad in Serbia.
