China aqua feed output increases 7.4% in first half of 2017

China's freshwater aqua feed production rose 7.4% to 1.44 million tonnes in the first half of 2017, statistics by the China Feed Industry Association revealed.

In addition, freshwater aqua feed covered 10.4% of China's overall feed production in the first six months, with mariculture accounting for 3.7%.

Feed for pigs and broilers took up 47.2% and 30.8% of feed output, respectively.
