Diamond V expands North America dairy team
Diamond V® has expanded the company's dairy team in North America with its latest appointments.
Darrel Rennich (right) has been made regional sales manager for the Midwest Dairy Team, covering South Dakota.
"Rennich is highly engaged in South Dakota's dairy industry," says district sales manager, Mitch Deimund. "He brings years of dairy experience and positive relationships with him to Diamond V."
Previously, Rennich worked with Select Sires MidAmerica as a reproductive specialist and genetic consultant. Prior to Select Sires, he spent six years at South Dakota State University as farm manager as well as a dairy cattle judging coach and dairy challenge coach.
Rennich operated a registered Holstein dairy farm, and earned a Bachelor of Science in dairy production from South Dakota State University.
Jeramie Voss (left) is appointed as regional sales manager with the dairy team, responsible for Western Idaho and Northern Nevada.
"Voss has strong relationships with dairies in Idaho, Oregon, and Washington," says district sales manager, Chad Davis. "He already has achieved much in his career in the areas of milk quality, mastitis prevention, fresh cow health, calf health, and genetics."
Voss was previously employed by Zoetis and its predecessor, Pfizer Animal Health. Most recently, he held the position of dairy productivity specialist in the Pacific Northwest region of Idaho, Oregon, and Washington. Previously, he was the quality milk manager for the company in Kern County, Southern California.
At Washington State University, Voss held the position of Student Herdsman at the university dairy and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in animal science.
Steve McGinness (right) is appointed the national account manager, which will include collaboration with Diamond V's dairy team.
"McGinness has a proven history of business development, customer relationship management, and strategic marketing in the animal health and nutrition arena," says Kevin Larson, the director for national accounts.
Previously, McGinness was Novus International's dairy sales manager for the Midwest and has worked with Elanco and Pfizer Animal Health in positions that included senior sales and account management in the dairy, beef, swine, and companion animal segments. He began his career with Cargill Inc./Sunny Fresh Foods.
He received his Bachelor of Science in agricultural economics from Kansas State University and an MBA in marketing from the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, Minnesota.
