Ukraine harvests 19.85 million tonnes of wheat

As of August 25, Ukraine harvested a total of 32.3 million tonnes of grains, or 96 percent of projected early grains area, the country's government said.

Wheat harvested as of the same date registered 19.85 million tonnes, or 99 percent of forecast area. Average yield was 3.06 tonnes/hectare.

Meanwhile, rapeseed harvested totalled 255,500 tonnes, or 78 percent of forecast area. Average yield was 1.59 tonne/hectare.
