An eFeedLink Exclusive
Price summary

Market analysis
Prices of chicken products consolidated lower following the previous week's upsurge, prompting slaughterhouses to limit AA broiler purchases. Consequently AA broiler prices increased at a slower pace of 1.9% compared with the previous week's 8% rally.
Prices of day-old chick softened to the range of RMB2.80-3/chick amid waning demand.
China breed broiler
The availability of native broilers stayed tight. However, as markets stabilised in Guangdong, China breed broiler prices rose at a more moderate 2%.
Tight supplies, in conjunction with increased demand, pushed up native chick prices prominently.
Market forecast
Broiler prices are projected to consolidate in the coming week as slaughterhouses turn cautious. Chick prices are seen stable amid limited availability.
