Kemin Industries appoints new country president for Vietnam

 

Kemin Industries has appointed Hung Tran — who previously served as the product manager for Kemin Animal Nutrition and Health – Asia Pacific — as the company's new country president for Vietnam.

Tran served in his prior position, overseeing the LYSOFORTE™ and antioxidant portfolio for Kemin Animal Nutrition and Health – Asia Pacific. Within a year of his tenure, he grew the LYSOFORTE™ business by 19%. He was part of the team that had actively promoted Kemin's science-optimised savings (SOS) campaign to help partners better tide through the period of escalating raw material costs.

"I see my new role at Kemin as an opportunity to expand my scope of expertise," said Hung. "In the past years, I have thoroughly enjoyed solving the onset of business challenges brought about by the COVID-19 pandemic and rising raw material costs. I am excited to translate my knowledge into business success in Vietnam. I prioritise customer value and strongly believe that it starts with our people. This mindset is reflected in the quality of products and services we offer and our dedication to providing exceptional customer experiences in everything we do."

Before joining Kemin, Hung held over ten years of experience working in the animal nutrition industry in Asia, including Provimi, Cargill, De Heus and Trouw Nutrition Vietnam.

Hung currently resides in Vietnam for his new role.
