India becomes Vietnam's top animal feed exporter

India became the biggest import market of Vietnam for animal feed in the first seven months of this year with US$363.94 million, rocketing 65.58% against the previous year.

Argentina ranked the second with US$266.97 million, down 26.12% on-year, the Ministry of Industry and Trade said late Monday (Aug 22).

The US, Thailand, China and Indonesia followed with respective figures of US$139.44 million (-50.66%) on-year; US$68.08 million (+45.25%); US$59.6 million (+3.63%) and US$33.28 million (+51.82)

Vietnam spent US$1.36 billion on importing animal feed in the first seven months of this year, rising 0.5% from a year earlier, including US$188.6 million in July, down 5.04% from June.
