Kazakhstan able to supply Russia with 1.5 million tonnes of grain
In this marketing year, Kazakhstan can deliver to Russia 1.5-2 million tonnes of grain, said ProdKorporation Managing Director for Commercial Issues.
In general, Kazakhstan's export potential will comprise eight million tonnes in this marketing year. Earlier, Uvashev said that Kazakhstan's grain exports will focus on the republics of Central Asia and South Caucasus this year.
"Kazakhstan may deliver to Russia 1.5-2 million tonnes of grain in this marketing year," Uvashev said. "Azerbaijan's grain demand is 1.2-1.3 million tonnes and Georgia's is about 800,000 tonnes in 2010."
