China Mengniu Dairy's net profit surges for first half 2005
 

China Mengniu Dairy Co., the country's largest milk products maker, reported its first half net profit for 2005 surged 34 percent year-on-year to RMB246.5 million from RMB184.1 million.

First half revenue rose to RMB4.75 billion from RMB3.47 billion the previous year.

So far, the company has not elaborated on its first-half performance in a disclosure to the Hong Kong Stock Exchange, reports said.
