Belarus reduces dairy product exports to Russia

In the first half of 2018, the Republic of Belarus has reduced a significant amount of dairy product exports to the Russian Federation, according to a report from the National Statistic Committee of Belarus, Belstat.

The main cause of the decline in exports was the decline in the supply of condensed milk and milk powder to Russia.

However, despite the reduction in supplies, the Russian Federation continues to be the main market for Belarusian milk today.

Belarus exports almost all kinds of dairy products to Russia and simultaneously supplying milk to more than 20 countries.
