Zinpro Corporation appoints a new research assistant
 

 

 

Zinpro Corporation announces that Chanda Engel has joined the company as a research assistant and will be supporting the company's Research and Nutritional Services (RNS) team and its ruminant nutrition research and communication efforts.


"Our RNS team plays a critical role in pioneering the nutritional science behind Performance Minerals and advising our industry partners," Molly Frensko, research and nutritional services project coordinator, shared. "We are excited to add someone with Chanda's exceptional ruminant production experience and research expertise."


Engel previously worked as an extension cow-calf field specialist for South Dakota State University. Additionally, she worked as an animal science research specialist at the North Dakota State University's Carrington Research Extension Centre, as well as an assistant professor at Oregon State University's Klamath Basin Research and Extension Centre.


A prolific contributor to research and industry publications, Engel has been an author and co-author of multiple journal articles, peer-reviewed proceedings papers, peer-reviewed abstracts, research reports, industry publications and book chapters. She earned her master's degree in ruminant nutrition and her bachelor's degree in animal science, both from South Dakota State University.
