Russia restricts Netherland's poultry imports due to avian flu H7N7 outbreak
Rosselkhoznadzor, Russia Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Surveillance, has imposed a restriction on poultry imports from Utrecht, the Netherlands on accounts of avian flu LPAI H7N7 outbreak in the region.
The Federal service cites the outbreak of LPAI H7N7 on a farm in the Dutch province of Utrecht as the reason for installing the import ban.
Due to the outbreak of avian influenza subtype H7N7 in Utrecht, temporary import restrictions have been introduced on poultry products to Russia.
The restrictions apply only to the province.
