BASF hands over premix business for animal nutrition to ENSOL S.A.

As part of a worldwide reorganisation of its animal nutrition business, BASF has transferred its premix business in Argentina to ENSOL S.A., a well-known company comprising of local businessmen and technicians.
BASF will concentrate on supplying vitamins and other specific products, such as enzymes, organic acids and pigments for the animal nutrition market.
The agreement between both companies states that ENSOL will produce and commercialise BASF's portfolio of premixes Lutavit, Lutamin and Lutamix. ENSOL will also ensure the continued presence of these brands in the market, with BASF supplying the raw materials.
BASF will continue to produce and commercialise the major brands Lutavit (vitamins), Natuphos (enzymes), Lucantin and Lucarotin (carotenoids), Lopromix and Luprocil (organic acids), and Luta-CLA 60.
