India extends ban on poultry imports
The Indian government has extended an existing ban on imports of live poultry from all countries, and most poultry, pork, and, pork products from bird flu affected countries, for another six months, according to India's Ministry of Agriculture.
Products affected also included pork products, pet food and products of animal origin (from birds) intended for use in animal feeding or for agricultural or industrial use.
