China July wheat imports 1,011 tonnes, down 98 percent on-year
China's wheat imports in July fell 98 percent on-year to 1,011 tonnes, the General Administration of Customs said Wednesday (Aug 22).
Total imports in January-July fell 80 percent on-year to 71,334 tonnes, it said.
The country also imported 3.03 million tonnes of soybeans, 202,334 tonnes of soyoil and 336,979 tonnes of palm oil in July, up 27 percent, up 132 percent and down 40 percent on-year respectively.
China's corn exports in July rose sharply on-year to 251,308 tonnes.
