China lysine market shows signs of weakening
Lysine prices were stable to lower during the week ending August 20.
Lysine producers stood firm on prices amid tight availability. Nonetheless, traders in some regions who were eager to clear inventories cut prices while feed millers remained cautious although hog market has strengthened prominently and soymeal prices were on the rise.
Price quotes of 98.5-percent lysine were in the range of RMB7.80-8.20/kg.
