South Africa 2003-04 Corn Estimates Raised To 8.48 Million MT From 8.06 Million MT

South Africa's National Crop Estimates Committee Thursday raised its estimate for 2003-04 corn output to 8.48 million metric tons from 8.06 million tons in July.
 
In its seventh estimate of summer crops, the committee raised its white corn estimate to 5.22 million tons from 4.91 million tons and raised its yellow corn estimate to 3.27 million tons from 3.15 million tons.
 
The soybean estimate increased to 210,855 tons from 207,585 tons.
 
The final estimate for the season's output will be released next month.
