AB Vista's Signis stimbiotic launched in Selangor, Malaysia

 

AB Vista recently held the Malaysia Fibre Seminar 2022 on August 18 at Sunway Resort Hotel in Selangor, Malaysia.

The event saw the official launch of Signis, the company's stimbiotic feed additive which provides "multiple benefits" in terms of health, resilience, performance and profitability, according to AB Vista. "This winning combination is helping to redefine modern-day feed strategies," it states in a product overview.

With 70 industry players — including integrators, feed millers, farmers,  and veterinarians — at the seminar, AB Vista speakers dealt with various topics, namely, "Recent Advancements in NSPase", "Fibre & Gut Health" (both topics presented by Dr. Mike Bedford, R&D director), "Stimbiotics – Effect on Performance & Gut Health Markers" (Dr. Usama Aftab, technical director, ASPAC) and "The Value of Capturing Raw Material Fibre Variability with NIR" (Alejandro Criado, business and technical manager). Industry personnel from Cargill and local companies, like Chop Cheong Bee, Gold Coin and QL, were also in attendance.

Prior to this event, Signis was unveiled in Indonesia last month and would be launched in Vietnam in September, as well as in the Philippines and Thailand in the fourth quarter.
