Madhya Pradesh, India, seeks to become milk capital by 2028

 

 

 

The government of Madhya Pradesh, India, aims to make the state a milk capital by 2028 by accelerating milk production, said chief minister Mohan Yadav during his visit to Kundal village in Ratlam on August 16.

 

He announced that the government will buy cow's milk from farmers and cattle farmers to boost their income and make them self-reliant.

 

The chief minister also inaugurated 37 projects worth ₹158.64 crore (US$19.05 million) and laid foundation for 20 projects worth ₹87.27 crore (US$10.48 million).
