Cyprus Tenders To Buy 25,000 MT Feed Barley, 8,000 MT Corn

The Cyprus Grains Commission issued two tenders to buy 8,000 metric tons of corn and 25,000 tons of feed barley with both tenders closing Aug. 19, the Commission said in a statement Tuesday.
 
Corn is to be of U.S., Canadian, European Union, Hungarian, Bulgarian, Romanian, ex-Yugoslavian, Argentinean, Brazilian or South African origin.
 
Feed barley is to be of U.S., Western Canadaian, Australian, Syrian, Russian, Ukrainian, Kazakh or Argentinean origin and may be plus or minus 5% of the tendered quantity.
 
The corn is for Aug. 17 to Sept. 15 shipment, while the feed barley is for Aug. 15 to Sept. 13 shipment.
 
Both tenders close at 1130 GMT Thursday with offers valid for six hours after the deadline, while tenderers must quote prices in euros.
