ForFarmers partners with UK's NFU for turkey marketing events
ForFarmers has announced that it will be supporting this year's NFU Autumn Turkey Marketing Meetings organised by the United Kingdom's National Farmers Union.
Each year, NFU organises a series of marketing meetings aimed at seasonal turkey producers. Following the 2020 virtual meeting, the eight meetings this year are planned to take place in person across the UK between September 13 and October 11.
The meetings provide an opportunity to ask questions and provide useful insights for those involved in seasonal turkey production. Each event will include updates on the feed market, consumer insights, cost of production and other practical information to help producers get the most from their turkey business.
Tom Glen, poultry adviser at NFU, said: "ForFarmers has been a key supporter of the NFU's Autumn Turkey Marketing Meetings in previous years, and we are delighted that they are continuing their support in 2021. Having met virtually in 2020 due to coronavirus restrictions, we are looking forward to meeting face-to-face this year with producers to share insight, knowledge and support, to help seasonal turkey producers have a successful season."
David Hilldrith, poultry sales director at ForFarmers, said: "We're proud to once again be supporting the NFU's Autumn Turkey Marketing Meetings. We are thrilled that they will be taking place in person this year, and look forward to providing an update on the raw material markets, whilst offering an insight into the role that nutrition can play in your turkey venture."
