Vitamex introduces new piglet feed

Babipops, a new piglet feed product from Vitamex, is featuring a blend of sweet and sour taste to make it more appetizing for piglets.  

Research on aromas and sweeteners has played a major role in the development of Babipops. Using appetising acids, the company aimed to achieve a taste factor that would appeal to piglets.

The research team also worked to ensure the right balance of proteins and peptides that would ensure low acidity in the stomach, the company said.

This has been achieved by the use of medium-length fatty-acid chains that ensured the stabilisation of the gastro-intestinal flora, thus maintaining excellent intestinal health and rapid digestion, the company said.
