Vietnam sees rebound in raw shrimp prices
Vietnam's raw shrimp prices have recently rebounded from declines the previous week, rising by US$0.126/kilogram, according to industry reports. The prices were expected to continue rising in the near term.
Domestic raw shrimp prices had fallen by US$0.315-0.441/kg the previous week, following a plunge in regional prices due to abundant supplies in Thailand, India, China and Indonesia, industry reports said.
Vietnam's seafood industry currently earns the most from shrimp exports.
