China methionine market lacks momentum
Prices of methionine moved higher during the week ending August 6.
Although prices of poultry products strengthened lately, feed producers stayed prudent with purchases of methionine.
Price quotes of imported dl-methionine stayed in the range of RMB18.30-18.50/kg.
Demand for poultry feed is poised to increase gradually with the demand for egg growing due to the approaching of the Mid-autumn Festival.
