Vietnamese Shrimp And Fish Farmers Can Now Buy Locally-Produced Medication For Aquaculture Use

Vietnamese seafood company Agifish recently held an official launch of the 20 types of medicines for shrimp and fish produced by one of its affiliates.

Agifish's general director, Ngo Phuoc Hau said that its newly established seafood service unit produces these medicines from imported materials.

He added that Agifish would also send technicians to help farmers use the medicines properly.

According to Can Tho University in Can Tho Province of the Mekong delta, fish and shrimp farmers in the region use hundreds of kinds of medicines for their production, and due to limited knowledge, medication cost amounts to 30% of the production cost.
