Robust seafood snack sales boost China Marine's revenues in Q2
China Marine Food Group, a processor of seafood-based snack foods, has reported revenues of US$14.8 million for the second quarter ended June 30, 2009, which was an on-year increase of 12.9 percent.
The hike in revenues was attributed to the continued growth in sales of the company's processed seafood snack segment which grew 15.3 percent during the second quarter.
China Marine's Mingxiang-branded dried seafood snack food products accounted for about 96.6 percent of the company's revenues for the quarter while its marine catch segment accounted for the remaining 3.4 percent.
