Russian Wheat Exports Increasing
Exports of 2004 crop wheat from Russian ports are increasing. According to the port sources, Russia's basic grain shipping ports (port of Novorossiysk and the ports located in Rostov Oblast) shipped 170,000 tons of wheat in July, which is 3.2 times more than in June.
The principal volumes of Russian wheat in July were shipped to Egypt (58,000 tons), Italy (33,000 tons) and Israel (32,000 tons).
According to the latest data, the activeness of accumulation and shipments of the 2004 crop grain in Russian ports is further increasing.
