Cheese prices fall off of cliff
 
Batavia, NY - Cheese prices plunged this week with blocks giving up 54.75 cents and barrels, 71.75 cents. In the last two weeks, blocks have fallen a total of 84 cents, and barrels, 93 cents - knocking more than $8.00/cwt off the Class III milk price. Butter and nonfat dry milk prices have also declined and are down $0.20/lb and $0.04/lb, respectively. What's changed?
