Hawaii's beef production stays high against other livestock

Hawaii's beef production was up by 5 percent on-year at 585,000 pounds while other livestock production dropped in June, the National Agricultural Statistics Service Hawaii said.

Dairy cows in Hawaii produced 1.5 million pounds of milk in June, down 46 from last year.

Pork production fell by 8 percent on-year, at 271,000 pounds, while egg production dropped by 13 percent at 6 million.
