EU intervention resale tender: 78,078 tonnes corn granted

A total 78,078 tonnes of corn was granted at Thursday's (Aug 10) European Union intervention resale tender, EU figures show.

This included 44,782 tonnes from Hungary at EUR104.53 a tonne; 22,987 tonnes from Czech Republic at EUR106.25/tonne; 9,995 tonnes for Slovakia at EUR104.66/tonne; and 314 tonnes from Poland at EUR116.13/tonne.

The intervention grain granted is for use on the internal market only and can't be granted below domestic or intervention prices.
