Animal And Poultry Sales In Ukraine In January-July Decline
 

According to State Statistics Committee, sales of animals and poultry for slaughter in Ukraine in the first seven months of 2004 dropped 5.2 percent from the same period last year to 1.29 million tons.

Production of milk in January-July this year made 8.16 million tons, which is 1.6 percent less than in the same period of 2003.

Production of eggs over the period slightly increased by 1.2 percent from January-July of 2003 to 7.5 billion.
