Cargill, Missouri Soybean Association to build biodiesel plant

Cargill Inc and the Missouri Soybean Association plan to build a 40-million gallon-per-year biodiesel plant and a 30-million-pound food-grade glycerin refinery in Kansas City.

Cargill and Paseo Biofuels LLC will jointly own the facility, which is slated to start this fall with biodiesel production projected next summer.
