Ukraine's 2011 grain crop to hit 50 million tonnes
Ukraine will produce a record 50 million tonnes of grains in the current year, according to the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food.
Milling grains will form nearly 60% of the harvested crop, said Nikholay Prysiazhnyuk, the head of the ministry.
Only twice Ukraine achieved such indicators - in 1990 and 2008, the minister said.
