Nibulon to export 200,000 tonnes Ukrainian wheat to Jordan
For marketing year 2012-13, Ukraine's Nibulon will export no less than 200,000 tonnes of wheat to Jordan.
"On July 31, 100,000 tonnes of wheat was purchased from Nibulon Company at the international tender of the Jordan Industry and Trade Ministry. Supply of wheat will be carried out in November this year," the statement reads.
In addition, at the previous tender, Nibulon Company also has won supply of 100,000 tonnes of wheat to Jordan. Two batches by 50,000 tonnes will be supplied in the second half of August and in the first half of September.
"Nibulon is a traditional supplier for Jordan, since the company carried out a great part of supplies to this Middle East country in 2011-12 marketing year," the statement reads.
According to the company, within the frames of the UN World Food Programme, Nibulon will supply 9,820 tonnes of Ukrainian wheat to North Africa, Mauritania (port Nouakchot) in the second half of August and the first half of September.
